Support Free Software

"Free software is not really about software in this fundamental sense; it's about bringing freedom to users through software.", says Benjamin Mako Hill of Free Software Foundation in his "Annual Free Software Foundation Membership Drive Appeal" and he explains why the fight for free software is more important than ever.

Computing is becoming more and more mobile: The mobile phone is the new computer. And just like in the early days of home computing, these devices are incompatible walled gardens. The same can be said about social networks like Facebook or MySpace.

I think, we should all keep this in mind, when we look at Zikula and compare it to all the commercial stuff out there: It's not just about functions. It's also about freedoom.

A different kind of License, is it possible ?
Sometimes I think some people deserve to pay for something that others get for free. Is there such a license? Business license for assholes?
I hope no one from the [s]PostNuke[/s] Zikula Community will feel included in this category...

ps.
editing comments could put status from "Pending" to "Approved"

licence
I am not sure. You can also release software with a double license, AFAIK: A community version for non-comercial use and a commercial licence.
