The version 2.1 of Intraweb is available. The installation is also available in English.

To create the Intraweb no single line of the core of Zikula has been changed, but a set of modules that improve communication in communities of users have been incorporated.

The version 2.1 is based on Zikula 1.1.2. Apart from the system modules, the Intraweb incorporates some modules extracted from the database of 3rd party and 18 modules created specially for the project that I outline below.

Most modules operate independently from each other, but the way they operate the best is working all together. There is only a module on which all the others depend. This is the iw_main module.

iw_agendas – It allows you to have a personal agenda for all users and as many shared agendas as necessary. With the shared agendas it is possible to decide who can see the entries, who can create new entries or who can manage the annotations created. It incorporates the calendar and recent events block.

iw_bookings – It allows the booking of spaces and equipments on an established schedule. It is possible to create permanent or occasional bookings.

iw_books – It makes it possible to create a list of recommended books that can be filtered by various criteria and can be displayed in PDF format.

iw_files – It allows you to manage files from a website root directory. You can create public directories, accessible directly from the Internet and private directories, whose contents are accessible only from certain modules.

iw_forms – It allows you to create forms and decide which people can view them, and create or manage the annotations submitted. Forms can have an infinite number of fields of different types.

iw_forums - It is a system of forums where the submitted posts are presented in threads of converse. You can define who can read, post and moderate the forums.

iw_groups - This is a module for administrators only. It extends the functionalities of the module groups that incorporate Zikula. It makes easier the management of groups members.

iw_jclic – It allows assigning Jclic activities to users and stores the results that they have obtained.

iw_main – It incorporates some functionalities which are required by others Intraweb modules. There is also a block of new items and flagged items. This module incorporates a cron system that sends daily emails with the recent event to users who subscribed it. It also allows setting some parameters common to all Intraweb modules.

iw_messages - An internal messaging system with the possibility of sending mass messages (only users who are allowed to do it) or attaching files. At any moment you can track whether the messages have been read and when.

iw_moodle - Intraweb integrates with Moodle. Synchronization of users between the two platforms with single sign-on between them, managing users and roles in Moodle courses from Zikula...

iw_myrole – It allows administrators to take any role or set of roles at any moment. It allows getting an idea about how other people or groups of people see the website.

iw_noteboard - This is a panel of letters to put information you want to show to other users. It is possible to decide which users have access to the information submitted.

iw_qv – It allows users to assign Notebooks Virtual activities to other users. The results of the activities are stored and they can be accessed by the persons who made the assignments.

iw_timeframes – It allows you to set schedules. These schedules can be used on the reservation forms.

iw_users - It extends the functionalities of the users module which incorporates Zikula. It allows administrators to create users massively from cvs files and to export lists of users. It also makes possible a simple and quick management of groups which users belong.

iw_vhmenu – It allows you to create an horizontal menu with different levels where you can choose the items that the different groups of users can see.

iw_webbox – It allows you to insert external pages on the intranet within a frame.

The Intraweb also incorporates many modules that have been created by other people such as Scribite, Downloads, News, EZComment, Content, myMaps ...
