How to pick dates and get people together

As we just announced the next bugfix weekend we thought about promoting a nice little tool you also might find useful.
We used Doodle to let people show when they have time. This neat thingy allows you to create a poll. You simply input a question as a title, select an amount of dates (for example weekends) and then publish the whole thing.
Afterwards you spread the url pointing to your poll and people can easily check those dates where they are available. So with time Doodle shows you the perfect options for your event.
As we have several sub projects, we also want to encourage you to use Doodle or similar means for planning your appointments more efficiently. Sometimes it is better to do something for one day with more intensity instead of only a low activity over a few weeks. For example if three persons are working on a module, it can be helpful to meet each other for bigger decisions
